The Sociopreneur Community program
departs from the mission to invite the public to be involved in the concept of
social-entrepreneurship or social entrepreneurship. This concept is not only
profit-oriented, but also carries the spirit to empower and empower one
another. Concretely, this program touches a number of economic actors in the
village with joint efforts to develop microbusiness.
The Sociopreneur Community program is
included in the Agricultural Labor Practice (ALP) Village initiated by Imaji
Sociopreneur and PT. Universal Tempu Rejo since June 2021. To date, we have
collaborated with 7 business actors in a number of villages in Jember Regency,
East Java. In addition, in accordance with our vision to involve the community
as an active subject in every program, we have also formed social groups with a
total of 34 individuals.
Sociopreneur Community is our
endeavor to be involved in overcoming socio-economic problems in the village.
We strive to provide technical assistance ranging from group strengthening,
product HPP calculations, business licensing assistance, simple bookkeeping
mechanisms, profiling and branding, to development through digital marketing
and financial planning. We hope that through this collaboration, each business
actor can expand his market coverage, be empowered and independent and be able
to empower the surrounding village communities.

e. Sociopreneur Community Organic
Fertilizer Subburganic (@suburbanic)
With the majority of community work
in Sukosari village, Sukowono sub-district as farmers and ranchers who have a
lot of waste from agricultural and livestock products, this is a problem in
itself. Disposing of this waste into rivers risks creating new problems for
people who, on the one hand, still use the river for bathing and washing.
Agricultural Gapoktan in Sukosari Village in 2012 had an initiative to process
livestock waste to be used as organic fertilizer. At that time, Gapoktan was
still marketing in the form of logs. This activity carried out by Gapoktan did
not last long because it was considered not optimal in attracting the market and
its production mechanism. In order to answer these problems, Imaji Sociopreneur
entered to cooperate in the marketing and branding of products from the
Sukosari village agricultural cooperatives. This collaboration started from a
shared hope to create self-reliance and create a system for the village from
the village for the sake of village independence. Suburganic comes from the
collaboration of Imaji Sociopreneur with the Gapoktan of Sukosari village.
Suburganic is here so that sewage is no longer dumped in the river, but is
processed into organic fertilizer with Gapoktan. With the spirit and mutual
cooperation, the products that have been produced include: goat organic
fertilizer, cow organic fertilizer, liquid organic fertilizer, and probiotics
to increase the absorption of waste generated by livestock waste.
f. Sociopreneur Community Islamic
Boarding School (@coffee boarding school)
One of the coffee-producing centers
in Jember Regency, East Java, is located at the foot of Mount Raung. There, we
collaborated with Pondok Pesantren At-Tanwir (Pesantren Kopi) to process and
develop the 'coffee boarding school' product processed by the Islamic boarding
school.
Ponpes At-Tanwir is a foundation
formed around 2008 by Kiai Zainul Wasiq to solve educational challenges around
the village. Most of the santri there are children of migrant workers and some
are social orphans. With these various backgrounds, Ponpes At-Tanwir does not
only prioritize education and spirituality, but also about entrepreneurship.
The potential in the village of Slateng makes it an opportunity to become a
source of income for Islamic boarding schools. The coffee boarding school not
only has a profit value in it, but is also used as a form of benefit and the
needs of the pesantren. So that the students who serve in Islamic boarding
schools do not only serve and carry out teaching activities. But also has
economic activity in coffee plantations. Pesantren caregivers are very open
with business partners because this will provide economic development
activities in Islamic boarding schools. Seeing the potential contained in
At-Tanwir Islamic Boarding School, Imaji Sociopreneur has become a partner for
coffee boarding schools. With the concept of developing marketing and outlets
to make a coffee boarding school business branding. Apart from prioritizing the
business concept, this will also have a social impact on coffee farmers in
Slateng village.
